New product line: “Siil” glass joints for interior glazing and partition wall systems!

Dextr is developing and producing a new range of sleek, self-adhesive glass joints available on roll under the name Siil®.

The Siil® profile shape fits perfectly into polished glass joints and offers an innovative, user-friendly, and aesthetic solution for seamlessly connecting interior glass partitions.
Thanks to its easily tearable sealing lips, Siil® is suitable for various installation methods, including:
✔ Material: Made of high-quality thermoplastic elastomer, temperature-resistant from -40°C to 110°C

One Siil®, multiple installation possibilities:

• Inline glass installation

• 90° corner joints

• T-joints with perpendicular intersections

Siil® is available for various standard glass thicknesses, including:

• 10 mm tempered glass or 55.2 laminated glass

• 12 mm tempered glass or 66.2 laminated glass

• 88.2 laminated glass

Standard colors available (custom on request):

• Silver Shade (neutral)

• Black – RAL 9005

• White – RAL 9016

Outstanding product features:

✔ Durability: UV-resistant and chemically neutral, resistant to household cleaning agents

✔ Strong adhesion: The transparent, weather- and water-resistant mounting tape ensures strong adhesion to glass edges and is compatible with PVB film in laminated glass

✔ Insulation: Enhances both thermal and acoustic insulation in glass wall systems
The Siil® glass joint is supplied in compact roll packaging, minimizing cutting waste. With optional accompanying tools, installation is quick, easy, and clean—ensuring a sleek, high-end finish for interior glass walls.
Siil® glass joints will soon also be available for 8 mm glass thickness. Additionally, fire-retardant glass joint profiles are currently in development.
